Volume control not working

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. joining hangouts
2. adding a member
3. trying to turn down their voice in the hangout-toolbox side window

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

I expect (as it has in the past) to turn down the volume of a member of the 
hangout

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Version: 2.0.1 Windows 7 Professional SP1

I pulled the hangout up in a dev window for a sec to throw you some of these 
stats.

Glad I'm not alone on this issue. It was working fine about a month ago but now 
it doesn't work at all! :(

IKR! It's a work computer, so nothing is allowed to change with my user 
credentials. I cannot think of any reason why it would have just happened all 
of the sudden. And, to match, the members i use hangouts with have the same 
tool box and report the same issues as well!
