Currently we are supporting two pdf generators for apps.
The Java-based pdf generator should be discontinued and later removed.
We need to analyze if the new pdf generator covers all the functioality for the "old" generator and coordinate with the apps team on what would be a good time for (1) discontinue support and (2) remove it entirely.
