Documentation inadequacies cause much frustration #133

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Galleriffic Example 5 - Using galleriffic-5.css
2. CSS settings for image file with most height set per instructions
3. MAIN ISSUE - css IS NOT SUFFICIENTLY DOCUMENTED INSIDE CSS FILES. Request
enhancement.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expecting to have any image that loads, regardless of height, align at the top
of the list item. Instead it aligns vertically AND horizontally at center. Text
for description and title are therefore where they should be, but the image
itself is too low.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Version 2.X on Windows Vista 64-bit Service Pack 2.

Please provide any additional information below.
This TERRIFIC PROGRAM even allows calling the images from a database! I've
finally managed to get that all working, and STILL have the wonderful slideshow
and skin. HOWEVER - I have NO IDEA how to address the .css or jquery script to
fix the alignment issues I find. It takes an inordinate amount of time, that
could be eliminated by annotation of the css files... i.e. 'this is for....
xxx' - so I can address padding, width, and other alignment issues.

I have tried 1000 ways to align the photo at texttop of the other div (the
Title and Contents) to absolutely no avail. All I can do is lower the photo
HEIGHT settings, which cuts off the bottom of many of my photos.

Respectfully request that information only the wonderful developer knows gets
shared with his enthusiastic community of users. Will PAY for and ADVISE when
up and running. SENSATIONAL PROGRAM.
