Bug with JQuery 1.4.2

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. The JavaScript is as in example-5.html except that all the page navigation 
is disabled apart from the 'next page' and 'previous page' arrows.
3. When you click on the 'next page' arrow the thumbnail from the beginning of 
the next line appears for a few hundred milliseconds and then disappears.  The 
new line of thumbnails then appear as usual

This doesn't happen using JQuery 1.3.2

Gallerific is a wonderful program, and I have invested a great deal of time 
working on a product which depends on it.  However, I need to have JQuery 1.4.2 
for other functionality!  Will it be possible to fix this?

I'm having the same problem with a website I'm building. When clicking on "next 
page", it is visible the quick jump on the thumbnails. It happens with both 
jQuery 1.4.2 and 1.4.2 1.4.4. 

As you mentioned it doesn't happen on jQuery  1.3.2, but unfortunately there is 
other functionality that require the use of a higher version (ex: jQuery UI)

I think this problem is the same as in issue 139 ( 
http://code.google.com/p/galleriffic/issues/detail?id=139 ), please take a look 
at the fix I posted there and see if that helps.
