Roof Deco pieces are made of Masonite and pressed board. The channels and lower segment of pieces are rotten and damaged by water.
They need to be removed, refabricated and a new channel/mounting solution needs to be made to avoid future water damage. Material should be a hardwood, or a thick marine board and oiled and painted.
Its been proposed that the roof will be replaced with a metal roof. If that is the case, the edges of roof should overshoot the edge a bit to leave room for the installation to include a type of flashing mount for the roof deco facades.
