Polygon alpha fill in GE 5 differs from previous versions

Which products are affected?
Google Earth 5

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. open the attached file in GE 4.3
2. open the attached file in GE 5
3. compare the FilledPolygons in both versions

What is the expected output or behavior? What do you see instead?
Polygon Fills should reduce their opacity gradually and linear, in GE5
those with opacity < ~50% becomes almost invisible.

What application versions (if any) are you using?
5.0.11337.1968 (beta) OS X (10.5.5)

Which operating systems and browsers are affected?
OS X (10.5.5) / Windows Vista 32-bit

The whole polygon (alpha-coloring) thing is somewhat buggy or
poorly implemented in many ways, both GE 4.3 and 5.0. I put some more
examples in my file: http://www.k-ita.de/~sl/earth/ge5transPoly.kml

1. Klick the the Black BG polygon to become visible, zoom in and out a
little bit and you will hopefully see what I mean. Do you notice some
transparent polygons appearing and disappearing (GE5)?  And the
transparent "OutlineOnlyPolygon" Outlines (GE 4.3 & 5)? You can see
the berlin streets image through the black Polygon.

2. The lines and outlines are very simple implemented, they overlap
and have gaps at the edges, the thicker the lines the worse it looks.(maybe
more a feature reques)

3. The Polygon Outlines from "OutlineOnlyPolygon" have different line
sizes than those from "FilledAndOutlinedPolygons" sizes, view this
effect while zooming in and out.

4.  The Polygon Outlines from "OutlineOnlyPolygon" has a different
transparency than the one from a "FilledAndOutlinedPolygon" .  An
"OutlineOnlyPolygon" Outline has the transparency of a corresponding
colored Line, while a "FilledAndOutlinedPolygon" Outline has the
transparency of a corresponding colored Polygon.

4. A Polygon with a given percentage of transparency is different from
a line or an image with the same transparency, this is also true for
GE 4.3 but not as dramatically as in GE 5.

this is not fixed, I have a problem with gaps at the edges in GE 5.2.1.1588
