Needs code refactor

Your code is ugly, and quite inelegant. Need to:

• Tidy up the code
• Wrap all duplicate logic in functions
• Have a more cohesive process with a logical chain of events
• Figure out whether you're putting client-side logic in script.js or renderer.js
