Player Character does not interact with the "Rotisserie". #313

Hello, everyone!

I would like to report the following bug:

Describe the bug: This issue can be encountered when attempting to interact with the "Rotisserie". The Player Character shrugs his shoulders when attempting to interact with the object.

Expected behavior: The Player Character correctly interacts with the "Rotisserie".

Steps to reproduce the issue:

  1. Find any available "Rotisserie" in the Old Camp or New Camp.
  2. Attempt to interact with the "Rotisserie".
  3. Notice that the Player Character shrugs his shoulders.

Additional context Very minor bug, honestly, I don't know if this is a bug or just some leftover cut feature that has never been finished. I also don't know what the actual animation is supposed to be for this, I assume it cooks the Scavenger. Forgive the use of the ""Rotisserie"" word, I don't know the exact English word for it.

Barbq of Scavenger animation is missing in vanilla Gothic files. There are some non contents patch mods who add this missing ani.

This seems more like cut content to me. After all, it's just an ambient MOB.

Any thoughts on this one, @szapp?

The error is related specifically to animations. Compiled files are corrupted. If you take the animation files from G2 and compile them into G1, then everything works. The mds scripts are completely identical for G1 and G2.

Compiled animations, checked on 3 mods - Gothic Mod Fix, Othello, Dolina Zombie Evolution, there is no departure, animations work. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Hk9V0kQ6N-mj2JMi0JnO-nqdf_254ny2/view?usp=sharing

But this goes beyond the scope of the script patch. But in principle, you can make a separate volume that will overlap only the original anims.vdf and will not work if a person uses their own animation packs
