[Feature Request] Toggle for items correctly displaying in the world #227

I couldn't find the exact place in the code this was changed, but the current public release has items that sit in the world displaying as their original item while on the ground (ie, blue rupee on ledge outside zora's domain, for example, and after you grab it you learn it's, say, a bow). In the current dev build, this has been changed so that items display what they actually are. Which is great for clarity, but a few people I watch stream this game to large audiences have commented on how they're actually avoiding the dev builds because they don't want this functionality, and enjoy going through effort to get an item only to find out it wasn't what they assumed, rather than seeing it's something useless and just ignoring it immediately.

I'd suggest adding a toggle for this functionality, since it's seemingly not a straight upgrade for everybody, and I can certainly see the benefits of wanting it to be back to it's old functionality, especially in a game where people often play to enjoy chaos.

Your request has been brought up before. I think some people were thinking of adding it as a choice but hadn't actually implemented it and made a pull request for it yet. I don't know what TestRunner's thoughts on it being a toggle is though.

Not something I really seed needing a toggle IMO though.
