"Update Database" leads to error message from Amazon #17

Using the update button once resulted in the following error message on all subpages:

We are sorry!

A technical error occurred while we were trying to process your request. We are already working on it and will be back for you as soon as possible. Please check back later. We apologize for this inconvenience and thank you for your understanding. (translated)

Previously the background scan was running with default settings. I turned it off and wanted to test the manual update. After the message I feared for my account and therefore left the scan switched off. Fortunately, I was able to access the site again the next day.

The message you got there is from Amazon. That happends when to many requests are send to Amazon and is only for about 30 - 60 Minutes. After that you can access the Page normally again. I got a lot of these messages while testing and programming and are still not banned from the program, so there is no fear for your account so far.

We will look into the Update Database Section.
