Junctions were originally not included in the web app to save visual space, and to save network bandwidth. The new webapp saves both using the autocomplete input boxes, so junctions should be readded to make it easier to stop being lost in the junctions.

If you put a junction in your to-dest, the web app should have an advisory saying that you will have to watch for the junction and get out manually.
