Onsite, coaches can spend little time looking at the app to take attendance or assessments
Analytics show few activities during Session hours except for the above
Approach Being Considered:
[ ] An overlay menu with very large, easily readable/recognizable Actions
[ ] A flow that defaults to "right now" needs. Is a session active? About to Start? Just finished?
[ ] Deprioritizes the other features so they are out of the way but easy to get to if needed
[ ] Provides a meaningful "MY HOME" screen for adjusting settings and viewing personal stats
[ ] Free of competing priorities (for example, make Tasks and Attendance equal in UX priority)
Some UX Concepts:
To-Do Tasks live in the same screenspace as Session objects in an intuitive organized, stack/grouping
Coach can start a "Timer" immediately with a START SESSION/END SESSION button and this will simplify the UI & Options
An Option to do assessments is easy to do ad-hoc or for a specific student. Assessments will have their own UI based on the type
At all times Coaches are able to/encouraged to take photos, videos, dictate notes on the Session
Implementation:
Where a feature is incomplete (such as the Assessments UI) we hide/show it with an optional setting in debug/test builds.
We release improvements incrementally based on how quickly we can get them in and value/critical to other features.
New tickets may be created to support this effort at a detailed, progressive level.
