This comment applies only to users where the x64 version 1.09 of Magnet-DAQ is installed on Windows. If you are upgrading from a version other than 1.09, there is no problem.
First, download the latest Windows x64 version of Magnet-DAQ which is 1.10 at the time of this comment.
In order to successfully install version 1.10 of Magnet-DAQ, that includes a working Firmware Upgrade Wizard, you will need to do one of the following (the first option is the most user-friendly):
- Go to the Windows Control Panel and choose Programs > Uninstall a program. Find Magnet-DAQ in the list of applications, select it and choose Uninstall. After the uninstall completes, launch the version 1.10 Magnet-DAQ installer you just downloaded.

- Execute the version 1.10 Magnet-DAQ installer until it completes. Then find the location where you saved the MagnetDAQ-Setup.msi installer file, open a Windows command line at that location and type:
msiexec /fa .\MagnetDAQ-Setup.msiThat will force a complete reinstall and overwrite any conflicting files from version 1.09.

Version 1.09 release on Windows and macOS moved to Qt6 for distribution. Unfortunately, the FTP support in Qt6 has been removed and the Firmware Upgrade Wizard fails.
Version 1.10 will be released to use Qt 5.15 with FTP functions restored.
