Penalty Kick Analysis - expected goals by location and/or goal location #131

Not sure if you have the data but looking to perform an analysis on penalty kicks and their influence on the game. Penalty kick goals as % of total goals is available as is penalty kick conversion %.

What would be helpful is the following:

  1. expected goals by location in the box OR goal location (goal location might also require a stats like assist location as we need to determine high value plays not just goals and shot location to determine % of shots converted from a region)

Thanks for the feedback! We do have plans to display and make available shot-level information, such as xG values, coordinates, etc. Will update this thread with more information as we have it.
