This was an issue with the beta server and how I was connecting. This has been fixed and will be in the next release.
I can now add a photo, but can't add the required information: date, flow, author at a minimum.
Please use the fields on this page, including the fields on the Add Photo link on the page. Note that there is a bit of overlap.
There are no photo fields in the UI except for caption. We need the fields. See above.
@AWKevin can you send me a screenshot of the fields you want? I tried to visit the link but it's telling me I don't have permission to access it:
Unless it's the same fields as the flow report and then I can just use those...
You should be able to see this page: https://www.americanwhitewater.org/content/Report/new/
The fields we need, based on the list above are, with checks for the ones completed are:
[x] Country/State
[x] River Section
[x] Date/Time
[x] Level observation
[ ] Gage
[ ] Numeric Reading
[x] Caption
[x] Author
[ ] Subject
[x] Description
[ ] Rapid Name
If need be this can wait for a post-release update.
The data is being sent to the server. Since the user selected the river, section, and then looked at flows or the gallery, do we need to re-display this information? They are unable to see this info with out it?
When they submit the information, I am automatically connecting it to the Reach, section, etc. which has all the city/state info?
The form needs to additionally collect a numeric gage reading and subject at a minimum and perhaps rapid name.
As far as display goes, I think caption, date/time and numeric gage reading is important. No need to display the other stuff on the app.
@AWKevin what do you mean by subject?
fields are now added in
Adding a photo goes well until here, and then I get stuck. Clicking save photo does nothing.
