iirc /public/images isn't served by default in the example app, I know @jeffboyus has a PR in to fix that, maybe these need to be part of the same PR?

@wraithgar you're totally right. I took care of everything and moved it all into one commit + fix few missing things here https://github.com/AmpersandJS/ampersand/pull/82 Closing this one.
