[Bug] <title> PDF not downloading #2040

Is there an existing issue for this?

Product Variant

Cloud (https://rxresu.me)

Current Behavior

PDF is not downloading when I hit the Export PDF button (not in phone & not in PC), redirects to About:Blank page

Expected Behavior

PDF should be downloading

Steps To Reproduce

  1. Go to "Export"
  2. Click on "PDF"
  3. Redirects to "about: blank"
  4. Check why

What browsers are you seeing the problem on?

Firefox, Chrome

What template are you using?

None

Anything else?

No response

+1 exactly the same, have also tried different browsers and different image for Chrome and different compos variants. Resume4 runs flawlessly until the PDF export, but there seems to be a bug here.

I use json to export the pdf, it can work normally, however, i use template and export pdf , it doest work

This worked for me. Basically on the main page(dashboard) where you have all the resumes and what have you, go and rename your resume. The "title" and the "slug" parts of the resume should be identical. I come from a country where we use letters like "ž" and "č" and the slug part didnt recognize it. Just write something on both lines in english or withou the "weird" letters and you should be fine. Instead of ž tipe z and so on and it should work.

This also happened to me. Removing accented characters from the resume name solved the issue. @AmruthPillai filtering the non-english characters would let you get rid of many of the tickets which are duplicates of this issue.

This is the correct solution, I had my name on the title which has the á character, I removed them, saved it and the PDF export works now.
