[Bug] <title>auto:blank when generating pdf #2043

Open sebas2274 opened 2 months ago

sebas2274 commented 2 months ago

Is there an existing issue for this?

Product Variant

Cloud (https://rxresu.me)

Current Behavior

Everytime I try to generate a pdf the cite only opens a pop-up tab with the description auto:blank and a white background without anything else. There is no pdf generated. Example below image

Expected Behavior

A pdf pop-up stating the download started and seconds later a pdf generated

Steps To Reproduce

Select pdf option either at the bottom of the window below the resume preview or in the export section on the left side menu image

What browsers are you seeing the problem on?

Microsoft Edge

What template are you using?

Ditto

Anything else?

No response

I'm getting the same issue here. In my case I'm running self-host with Docker and in Chrome.

I'm getting this same problem, too, and I'm on the self hosted version. I've tried the following to no avail:

I've tried every option except the https change to the docker-compose.yml file I saw in another post but I"m keeping it all local and not planning on exposing it externally.

No matter what I do, it will not export to PDF.

IT WORKS

Yo need to be sure that the name of your resume it´s in English, I had mine in Spanish and once I change it I manage to download the pdf

Crazy that I tried to change the resume's name to "test" and even like that didn't work

The title is in English on mine and still no PDFs. I've tried several iterations and even a pretty much blank resume with just a title and i cannot get it to print to pdf.

Thank you so much man, it worked for me. I just renamed it "CV firstname Lastname"

Same here. Did you finally find a solution?

s3rv3rn3rd commented 1 month ago

unfortunately not. I just ended up editing it manually as nothing I did would get it to export properly.
