Thanks a lot, that's just what I need!
Has anything new been discovered about the file format since the document's
creation?

Not really, just that the assumption regarding the 32 low/high bits are correct.
You ll also need the hash method for the name to file conversion:
http://code.google.com/p/easymyp/source/browse/trunk/WarhammerOnlineHash/Warhamm
erHash1.cs
, you have the asm original code in a file in the same folder i think ^^
The rest is straight forward :) I just wonder why you d want such a tool on a
Linux
platform when the game is only Windows (though I admit that i haven't checked
up on
WAR for a long long time now)
Good luck!

Ah, you can't go wrong with assembly, thanks again.
Warhammer is playable on GNU/Linux and BSD platforms using WINE, a program that
translates Windows and DirectX calls into equivalent calls the Linux or BSD
kernel
can understand ( http://www.winehq.org/ ).
Thanks a lot for your attention, I can begin work now!

I'm currently working on a commandline based myp packer for personal usage and
have therefore done some research about the myp-file structure in several
places. As the documentation from easymyp's SVN was I great help I thought it
might be nice to share my findings.
Attached you'll find all information that is necessary to completely rebuild
patcher.myp from extracted files + meta data
My next step will be to understand the signature found in the mft-files and in
the metadata of myp.

Thanks for the help. I was wondering why it was working on Linux. WINE should
do the trick for anyone else using Linux.

This was very helpful. It is funny how one mans issue one day will be another
mans struggle the next day. Thank goodness for the internet.

Thanks so much for sharing this great information! I have actually been really
interested in finding out a little bit more about this company:
www.allaroundtowncarpetcare.com. Are you familiar with them at all?

When you are looking for a dentist in your area that can help you out, you want
to know that they come highly recommended and they know what they are going. It
is very important to know that they are here to help you out and they will do a
great job while they work on your teeth.

Were you able to program the archiver for the GNU/Linux and BSD yet? I am eager
to see how it turned out. My sister doesn't use the Microsoft language and has
been wanting access to the archiver. Hope it turns out well

I don't know why linux seems to bother me and other people so much. I
understand that a lot of people think that it is easy to use for code but I
find it frustrating. I guess I am just too set in my ways with windows.

I am also curious to see how to obtain this file. If anyone finds out how to
use it, let me know. I would look into it myself, but I have been busy taking
care of my horses lately.

Does MYP file format work for every computer program? I just got a new laptop
last week, and have been interested in what different formats will work in it.
It's an older version, but it runs really well still! www.epiclimosb.com

You definitely have hit the head on the nail Jayden. This will surely help out
a lot of companies currently struggling with coding. I also have horses I take
care of but I bet this will make it easier to do so.
