Support for modded wood types (to match Primal's wooden blocks) #310

Primal's wooden blocks like the slats, ladders, and log piles are fantastic to build with.

I was wondering if there could be future support for modded wood variants of these blocks? (Such as the woods from Abyssalcraft, The Aether, Forestry, Natura, ect)

+1

I'd like to add Biomes O' Plenty and Rustic to that list. Stripped log, split log, etc. for modded woods would be very much appreciated by modpack developers.

If implementing it is of low priority but you know how one could go about it using content tweaker that would also be amazing. I'm willing to work for it but I haven't quite dug into actually modding yet, just scripting with crafttweaker and such.

I've done a bit of CT to make the charcoal production work with other woods; renamed the wood piles to 'softwood stack', 'hardwood stack', 'exotic wood stack' ect and added in a bunch of recipes using log blocks.

CT works well for custom blocks, but (as far as I can tell) those blocks are limited to regular cubes and can't be rotated.

SkySom the Contenttweaker dev said that it was possible over on the discord so I've been trying to comb through the documentation to find out how, I'm having very little luck though. Many pages about the material builder system but nothing so far about supplying your own (or anyone else's) models. Re-reading his messages in the discord leads me to believe that I'm misunderstanding how models work and that they are mimicking vanilla functionality therefore wouldn't obviously add much documentation, maybe?
