Which Note Type (and version) is this about?

Anking Note Types Easy Customization Add On, most up-to-date version as of 10/04/2024

Problem description

Please describe the issue concisely in here. In case of an error: Walk us through the steps you took to get there. What happened? What did you expect to happen?

What happened: I made edits to the colors using the addon. If I want to make any further changes, I have to re-enter all of the original changes that I made because each time that the addon is used, it resets the settings to the default settings. What did I expect to happen: for the addon to retain the settings that I put in after I pressed save.

The add-on should already preserve settings, unless if there is an issue here. Will look into it.

@jsands214 are you changing things from the addon or manually adjusting things somehow?

I was using the addon to change things. I recorded a screen capture of what's happening to better show the issue. Even after I make the changes, the addon doesn't seem to be able to save them/re-load the changes when opening the settings: https://vimeo.com/871239898?share=copy

Even though I was just changing the color setting for bolded, underlined, or italicized words, the issue is reproducible for any other color setting (at least for dark mode, have not touched light mode), as well as font, and font size.

If you check the other notetype-specific tabs, do you see your saved changes?
