Pixus doesn't start

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. clicking the Pixus icon doesn't start the program
2.
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I'd expect the pixel ruler which worked fine until a few days ago. Now I
see nothing. Only the menu-bar on top of the screen.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Version 1.2 on Mac OS Leopard
