What is the Analog Testnet? The Analog Testnet is a public testnet designed for developers and community members. It allows them to explore and build on the Timechain, which is a next-generation data platform. Here are the key components: Analog Watch: Developers and users have access to the Analog Watch and the Watch SDK. This enables them to interact with the Timechain and test various features. General Message Passing (GMP): An initial version of GMP is available on the Timechain. It allows communication between different components within the network. Phases of the Testnet: Phase 1 (Developers): Developers engage with the Timechain, focusing on listing contracts, querying data, and constructing Watch views. Phase 2 (Community): The broader community participates, interacting with Watch Portal and exploring data deployed by developers. Phase 3 (Validators): Validators join the testnet to secure the network and earn rewards. Their contributions impact the network’s operation1. Incentivized Testnet: Analog recently launched an incentivized testnet, where developers, community members, and node operators can earn a share of $ANLOG tokens by actively testing the network2.
