Renaming Disks to Differentiate Collectors for Display Purposes #694

Closed Smooouky closed 2 months ago

It can be frustrating to display data from multiple collectors across different servers without a clear way to distinguish between them due to identical or similar disk names. This makes it harder to visually differentiate the sources of the data.

Additionally, I’ve noticed that in the disk details, there is a field called Device Label, but this field is not present for all disks. The inconsistency in the availability of this field makes it difficult to rely on as a solution for identifying disks across different collectors.

I propose adding the option to rename disks in the display interface to help differentiate collectors across different servers. This would allow for easy visual identification of disks, especially when the Device Label field is missing or inconsistent. Ideally, the Device Label field should be available for all disks to enhance clarity.

This feature would be especially helpful in multi-server environments where the visual organization of data from multiple collectors is important. Having a consistent Device Label field or the ability to rename disks manually would significantly improve the user experience.

I also want to thank the team for their hard work and commitment to enhancing the platform. I like scrutiny a lot

Similarly, the Device UUID (e.g., 3cade591-f598-5fcc-f8ea-694446068f14) is sometimes missing as well
