Hello, thank you for raising this issue.
In the orientation to clinic section of the UG, which defines the views in CLInic, it was explicitly mentioned that "today" in Day-View is "today" correct as at launch of the application.
Hope this clarifies.

Description of bug
While the DG mentions this in Planned Enhancements, there is no mention of the fact that if the application is left running, it would not auto-sync day-view to show those day's appointments (as seen in the screenshot below and elsewhere in the UG).
A proposed fix is to simply add in a warning note in the UG that recognizes this issue and warns users the restart the application every day to ensure that their day-view is up to date. This bug can be potentially catastrophic if the user is not smart enough to figure out what the issue is, and simply thinks the day-view feature is flawed. Furthermore, this can be added to the FAQ too.
