CDN for static content #244

how hard would it be to add support for a CDN for static content? there 
are a couple of cheaper CDNs now floating around the place (CacheFly, 
Amazon CloudFront, Mosso CloudFiles and SimpleCDN) and the ability to move 
your content there instead of serving from your local server may make 
things faster (Mosso are hosting using LimeLight, Amazon and CacheFly seem 
to have their own CDNs and SimpleCDN seems new in town but is getitng 
there). 

Any ideas?
