What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Search for "| ||"
2.
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expected search results comparing | to ||, which is a legit request. 
Search failed instead.

What version of the product are you using?  Yes

Please provide any additional information below.  This happened on
5/27/2009 at 10:13am cst.
