Data Column has problems keeping what is typed. (Work around suggested) #3

When typing in the date manually a replacing only the month or day with a
single number (examples: 1 or 9 ) the month or day does NOT stick.

If replacing the month or day with a two digit number (examples: 12 or 31 )
the numbers do stick.

Work around is to just use the calendar to pick the date or use the right
arrow keys to go over to the year to accept the small digit day and/or month.
