OAuth Redirect page doesn't load on Windows XP #19

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Install Chrome on Windows XP.
2. Link Chrome to Google account with tasks installed. Tasks and other
extensions will auto-install.
3. OAuth Redirect Page opens in a new tab. Page reads "Redirecting..."

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Page should redirect to a Google site where permission is given to share task
data. Instead, the page sits and does not load.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Google Chrome 13.0.782.107. Google Tasks version 1.0. Windows XP Service Pack 3.

Please provide any additional information below.
Note that the application actually still works. Taskbar button can add and
delete tasks, and these tasks are viewable from other browsers and at
calendar.google.com.

as of 3 mins ago, the issue has righted itself on my computer. Expected the
Oauth Redirect page, but instead got a page requesting access to my account for
use by the Tasks extension. Thanks to whatever Google god fixed this! :)

I am currently having this issue after reinstalling Windows 8 and,
subsequently, Chrome.

This has been an issue for me, but only on my openSUSE 11.4 server. This works
on all other installs of Chrome-Beta (Windows 7 on multiple machines, and on
Chromebook). I will be updating to openSUSE 12.3 when it is released in the
next couple of weeks. Hopefully, this will sort itself out.

Not only this, but also nothing happens when trying to add a task via omnibar
("t Some task text")

Same thing here, windows 7 premium 64 bit, I have it set to open tasks
extension on bootup and every re-boot it asks for permission and stays frozen
on the Oauth redirection page.

I've got this problem on a Windows 7 machine, but all my other PCs are fine.
I've seen this before though, but it probably fixed itself after some Chrome
updates.
