DateTime Type for Optional Parameter #4

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. create a optional type [Optional("31-12-2008","dtDate")] datetime dtDate

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
No error
Default value for an optiona parameter {0} in method {1} can not be 
assigned to the parameter.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
