What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Create a hCard with <span class="vcard"><abbr class="fn" title="John
Doe" /></span>
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
A tripplet should be found with the "fn" set to the content of
"title"=>"John Doe", not "".
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Using <abbr class="" title=""/> is a common method used to hide properties
from view, but still add metadata.
