Allow user to specify base file name #33

Hi.

Thanks for your work on VIBRANT, looks quite useful for phage analysis. One minor suggestion: would you mind allowing the user to specify the base output name? At the moment this is just VIBRANT_\<assembly name without extension> but I would like to specify something shorter if possible in some cases. Thanks in advance!

I would like to request the same. This is especially useful when the input file name is quite long, for eg. SAMPLE_GL65_UP_mg.assembly.merged.fa or when including in workflow managers such as snakemake or nextflow.

Hi, I unfortunately do not have plans to update VIBRANT at this time. The best alternative is to specify an output folder with -folder, though that does not change the base output names.
