Viral Quality Clariffication #60

Open TJrogers86 opened 2 years ago

Hello! I recently ran VIBRANT on a few assembly files. In the attached pic you will notice that NODE_11_length_134495_cov_5.20079 has been identified as a low quality draft and a complete circular. How do I determine which is the case?

We see the same thing with NODE_1353_length_9615_cov_2.0195

Hi,

This is related to Issue #6 . A predicted virus is given a quality score: high, medium, or low based on the criteria outlined in the manuscript. In addition, circularity will be separately assessed. Therefore, all viruses are either high, medium, or low and some viruses will additionally be labeled as circular. It happens to be that the results of both analyses are in the same file, with circular always being at the bottom of the file. It isn't the best reporting format but is not planned to be changed at this time.

Ok. Thank you for clarification and pointing me to the prior issue.
