off limits zones #18

this was probably asked many times... I don't keep my eye on dumbass for few minutes and they go off and get themselves killed

I vaguely recall that i had a reason why not. But i don't remember why. So i'm gonna add it and see what happens (not right now, but well..)

probably mess up with pathing... how about some sort of invisible wall/door valid only for settlers?

maybe off limit squares? or no hauling zones?

I mean this just looks silly ;-)

You know you can prevent settlers from grabbing loot from the Faction menu? Then you can "raze" the loot for the things you want to grab

but that works only once... if you accidently raze it, it is no longer possible to cancel

besides it doesn't prevent them from walking through dangerous areas like turret room above or crazed robots...

maybe "avoid danger unless in combat" option? settlers not in combat will run away if they get attacked but this still doesn't prevent them for getting into trouble in the first place
