font Arimo bottom descenders cut off when font is installed on computer

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. install the arimo font on your computer
2. apply this to a website
3. open in google chrome on windows pc

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
expected is correct rendered font, but what i get is a font with descenders cut 
off.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Windows 8 x64, google chrome Versie 31.0.1650.63 m.

Its correct in other browsers.

Please provide any additional information below.
problem is solved by deleting the font from my pc. But that is not a sollution, 
because other people might have the font installed and still have the problem.
