Hi!

KJV Bible has Strongs Numbers. But in Slovenian language we do not have such a Bible with Strong Numbers. When I search for a Greek word 'diabolos' in KJV and tap on "Found all occurrences" I got results from KJV Bible.

But if there would be button "Change displayed language" I could see results in Slovenian language.

This would help me to better and faster find differences between our translations and KJV.

If you tap on one of the search result then it will display it in your preferred Bible module. In order to set it, the first time you display the results switch that linked window to your preferred Bible module, then from that point on all the search result will show in that preferred module.

My preferred Bible is KJV (four corners around it). I tap on word "the devil" to show me Greek words. Then I tap on "Found all occurrences". These search results are always displayed from KJV because KJV has Strongs. Module SloKJV has no Strongs, so I can not start searching from SloKJV as preferred Bible (four corners around it).

First make sure that in the app preferences the links window is set to on so that links open in special windows. 1) from kjv tap on a strong's no. >Then tap on find all occurrences. 2) When the list of verses appear tap on any verse from the list. this will show the verse in kjv in a special windows. Now with focus on the linked window choose SLOKjv module. On the top window Wich is KJV tap on the word devil again and now repeat steps 1 and 2. from this point forward all verses from the find list will show in a special link window in sloKJV.

@msavli Great idea Marjan! I think it would be pretty useful for those of us that speak two languages or more.

It would basically work like this.

Andbible queries the Strongs dictionary where are the occurances of xxxx word and then shows the results in another version.

This will be implemented without any additional work in #611 I think.

tuomas2 commented 2 years ago

Because multidoc window allows changing translation by now already.

Results_in_search_window_ARE_in_Slovenian_language

This actually somehow works on my old Android phone with AnbBible 4.0.66. When I tap on "Find all occurrences" results are in Slovenian language. That's what I need to check if the words are correctly translated in SloKJV. But this works only on one of my workspaces. And I can not repeat this on a new workspace.

In the window where you tap "Find all occurrences", make sure the selected Bible document version of that window is what you want in search results, then search results opens that version.
