Vive Controllers support #169

Hi, dear team of FreePIE! First of all - great job, you saved lots of money to so many people, very impressive!

My name is Boris and after recent Steam update I am no longer able to walk with keyboard in HTC Vive games that do not support keyborad, like Arizona Sunshine or Pavlov VR.

Is it possible to use HTC Vive controllers to allow using WASD (I actually only need W =) ) in games like Arizona Sunshine? If not, do you have plans about implementing such a feature? Thanks a ton in advance for your promt reply!

You mean emulate Vive? We do support emulating Razor Hydra which SteamVR supports.

I mean, I want to we able to use WASD in games that do not support keyboard. Is this possible to do with Vive controlles using PIE? Or is it only possible with Razor Hydra? My goal is to press W on keyboard and walk in games that do not support keyboard..

Still sounds like you want to emulate input? Razor hydra is supported, and you can use Razor Hydra instead of the Vive wands

I'm looking for something similar, I'm sure he doesn't mean hydra emulation, rather taking data FROM Steam VR to Free PIE to map onto real Vive wands, not vive wand emulation.
