image the plugin has the right asio device selected, my music software too. sound is coming out of my music software but the plugin can't seem to detect it. i have the last version of the plugin and the last version of obs. i really don't know where the problem is coming from.

Well I don't know your complete setup, but at least with your screenshot you're not going to be hearing / capturing much of anything with "Mute" selected.

these are the input of my sound card (focusrite scarlett 2nd gen) so the xlr and jack input. what i want is too root the audio from vcv rack (music software) to obs. so enabling or muting those input won't help right ?

If your preferred language is english, the "Mute" option is selected by default so that people don't blow out their ears when the plugin starts. Hopefully you've got more than just "Mute" as an option, because you'll need to pick the channel you're planning to capture to get any sound. Past that point you can control audio as normal with obs.

If you're still having issues just let me know, and what language you prefer. My french is awful, but I can get decent help translating.

Cordialement

Ah, ok I believe I understood that, you're aiming to capture an output channel. You'll want to read https://github.com/Andersama/obs-asio/issues/87

The plugin only captures inputs, however*, there are ways around that.
