A script should be created that copies out the necessary files from the build directories and asset folders into a separate folder that is not reliant on anything in the working directory of the repository. This is how a true release build can be created which can be sent to people who don't have a way to compile the project so that they can also play the game.
Currently estimated steps:
Build Release build in Visual Studio (probably can't be done from the script without a lot of effort?).
Script creates external "Release" folder.
Script copies produced executable and binaries to the "Release" folder.
Script copies needed assets from assets directory to the "Release" folder.
Optional parameter to run the executable to ensure everything is working?
