maybe when someone replies to a post, could the thread get bumped up the list? it might be easier to keep track of convos that way!
Sometime in the future, Feed posts will notify the original poster of replies. A (1) will appear on the Feed tab, and when you click it the Feed will reload and shows you the replied-to post highlighted in red so you know where to look for the reply.
However, there is currently no way of knowing about replies to posts, except by looking at the little number in the lower right corner:
And if someone @s you in a feed that you didn't write, you don't get notified. This is on the to-do list.
Andréa intends to add a way to subscribe to a post in the future, but that may not be for a while. Putting in short term measures to make things easier (like bumping posts with new replies to the top) often means the more helpful new features are delayed, so this time it's a case of getting a bit of a bodge now or waiting a little longer for a much more useful feature. We get that that's not much fun right now but hopefully it'll be worth the wait!
