As part of a feasibility study we need to record and analyse acceleration, orientation and gyro values encountered during normal operation of a motorcycle. Specifically, the following dynamic behaviours should be recorded:
Acceleration from standstill
Deceleration to standstill
Emergency braking (if safe)
Driving over manhole covers, potholes, bumps
Turns, bends, figure 8s
The R6 and Speed Triple paired with our riding abilities should give good averages. In terms of bad road conditions the suspensions of those two bikes should be stiff enough to infer reasonable results.
