baseband version unknown #42

when im flashing the kernel tought twrp recovery, using aicp rom (CM based rom for i9500), my baseband version becoming unknown and i no longer have signal.

someone told me its bacause the kernel is not updated to the recent CM version, its really the reason?

Use some of the repackaged kernels out there.
