Fixes for OSX #25

There were a few issues on OSX platform and I have got them fixed. Please let me know how you would like me to patch them back. There will have to be some platform checks in the fix.

Hey there. I would very much appreciate your contribution. Platform checks are ok of course. If they get a bit bulky we could always just drop them into a separate skript.

@rasivasu Would it be possible for you to maintain a public fork so others, like myself, can clone and get it running on MacOS 🙏
