Bow issues with better combat #10

Minecraft 1.19.2 Fabric 0.14.12

when i pair the tiered mod with better combat and a damage indicator just to view the damage the bow gets a gets a very weird behavior where it will sometimes not do damage at all or vary widely compared to without tiered on

i have even tried turning damage debuffs from tiered off so its just a common bow with no stat increases, this gives me the exact same results

Tiered makes some changes with attributes in a different way than Better Combat (for example, reach/attack distance).

I need to make a compatibility patch, but I have not had much time to work on this mod at all in the past year.
