When the Filament Sensor signals, the print pauses and the head moves to front centre. I change the filament, and push it through the extruder, until it begins to come out the nozzle. I wipe off the excess, then resume the print.
The trouble I am having is, at the layer the pause/resume occurred, there is always a weak seam on the print, where, when I pull it, the print will split at this weakened seam.
I am running an Ender3v2, with Sprite Pro extruder, on the Sonic Pad, mostly printing TPU at 235 degsC (although it also happens on my PETG prints).
Does anyone have any tips/tricks to help? I've scoured the internet looking for similar problems, but can't find any discussions, which probably means it's me doing something stupid!
Hi there, first time poster, so be gentle!!
I've recently started using the Pause/Resume, Filament Swaps & Sensors Macro (https://ellis3dp.com/Print-Tuning-Guide/articles/useful_macros/pause_resume_filament.html).
