Hi, is there any chance of a binary release? Thanks.

seconded, your old link is rather dead... http://www.hexedit.com/downloads.aspx

found an online mirror here: https://www.mediafire.com/file/b8wb4ainrm20vm3/HexEdit5build1349.zip

nice I can't seem to get it running on neither Wine nor WinXP (forgot how to fix the comctl32.dll error)

but anyways, I found my old patch for HexEdit Pro if that'll be of any use :P I'm sure he won't mind me posting, he built HE5 because Open Sourcing was better, and nobody payed for Pro anyways. https://mega.nz/#!h8hlCSqI!gqHRaE3NfdRCza2txlVUp-WJW53M5672QYRE7QFcATU

included mfc100.dll in case it fails to run for anyone as well: https://mega.nz/#!YtYnyY6R!Bjj9dzhB2aNyvFTluRwpW8GivHzsFZQP1nhEufZkApk

@eadmaster's Mediafire link (https://www.mediafire.com/file/b8wb4ainrm20vm3/HexEdit5build1349.zip) matches the SHA-256 for the one I have in my archive. ADA50CE79AE617996C284BEC33FBA1C55AA3EC21630A0A9BAB091BF958B1CECC HexEdit5build1349.zip

yo eadmaster, can I get your comctl32.dll (both x86 (system32) and x64 (sysWOW64)) files.

I just remembered the dlls I have are outdated (because WinXP) which is why I get the ordinal offset error: comctl32_error
