[BUG] Scanner hangs after scanning a page of artifacts #462

Open Zack2216 opened 12 months ago

Zack2216 commented 12 months ago

Current Behavior

When scanning, the scanner malfunctions when it finishes scanning the first page of the artifact page. It'll scan the first 5 lines of artifacts, then scroll up to the next 5 lines. Here, it halts for what would normally be the duration to scan through the page. The mouse curser doesn't move for 5 or so seconds, then moves to the top of the page where the scanner starts 'clicking' on the space where the inventory tab icons are. After getting to the food tab it exits out of the inventory menu to start on scanning characters

Expected Behavior

The scanner stops scanning

Does it every time. Deleting the contents of the folder where the resources are and exporting everything over fresh doesn't have an effect. Neither does exporting to a new folder.

Same. So idk if this helps but I've noticed that it occurs when it is trying to scan the 2nd page of gilded dreams artifacts

Mine also has the error once the scanner reaches my Gilded Dreams and attempts to go to the next page.

Instead of doing a fresh install, I forced the program to update the look-up tables and scanned again on slow-mode. I was able to get a full scan in. Weird bug, but hopefully my solution helps anyone that encounters this issue in the future.

Tried but doesn't work unfortunately

Same here - stops scanning on 5 rank (Gold) Gilded Dreams' Sands of Eon - "The Sunken Years". I thought that may be problem in one specific artifact and deleted first in a row then second - but it still hangs on GD sand anyway. Unusable for me in this state.

So I farmed a couple of artifacts recently, gave a try again and found that it scanned past gilded dreams without any problems. Then observed that it could do so because the sands artifacts were lined up in one page like this during the scan:

scrrfewsdgv

But then got interrupted when scanning Gladiator's Finale set goblets here:

gv534er

There was a row of goblets in the previous page, but managed to get a successful full scan by lining them up in one page again. It is similar to this issue: https://github.com/Andrewthe13th/Inventory_Kamera/issues/458

A temporary fix for now would be making sure that your gilded/gladiator: sands/goblet lineup on one page when scanning. It is possible that this affects other artifact sets as well but I'm not sure. But it is clear that the scanner has some issue scanning sands/goblet related artifacts when they continue over to the next page after scrolling, at least for these two sets.
