M3u not loading? #525

I am able to download m3u and epg via browser. Changed user agent to Google. Channels and Goups are still 0 and 0.

The only error in the log file I see is this (I replaced my actual server, username and password for the example):

Failed to load XMLTV: http://live.myservice.tv/epg/username/password org.apache.harmony.xml.ExpatParser$ParseException: At line 1, column 0: no element found at org.apache.harmony.xml.ExpatParser.finish(ExpatParser.java:559)

I am on version 1.9.9

Any suggestions?

The xmltv error is not related to the playlist. Seems it wast not able to parse the xmltv. Try to add the playlist as a file (that you have downloaded) but not url.

I was able to open the downloaded file. So I will not be able to.use the url? And have to download a new one everytime to update it?

Probably, the problem is in the user agent. The server returns not the playlist, but some error page or something else.

Ok I understand. I will test other user agents.

The problem I have now is only Fermata Media Services app shows on AA screen. I am not able to view video only sound? And only if I open the channel from my phone.
