No new messages during this drive #77

App 1.8.8 is now not working in android auto 16373012611891741483429931459760 Yesterday it was control not working...now both app and control isnt working.plz check

Try to kill AA and clear cache. This question asked many times in this thread - https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/fermata-media-player-audio-and-video-player-for-android-auto.4079519/

Hi, to solve the problem I had to delete all the AA updates and delete Fermata. Then update AA and install Fermata 1.8.8, with KingInstaller. Greetings.

I get this issue with Samsung Galaxy S7. Android 8. Not rooted AA 7.0.614134-release Fermata auto 1.8.8 installed with KingInstaller 1.2 = "No new messages during this drive"

Blackview A70 Android 11. Not rooted AA 7.0.614134-release Fermata Auto 1.8.8 installed with KingInstaller 1.2 = Installs and works as intended.

I have tried clearing the cache several times on my Galaxy S7 with no success. I am guessing Fermata Auto is not compatible with Android 8 at all. I have even tried AAAD 1.4.1 with no success. It will just not work on the S7.

Procedure to enjoy Fermata Auto no root

  1. Uninstall fermata auto
  2. In applications find and Uninstall Fermata control
  3. In applications search AA. In storage clear cache and clear data
  4. Install as Rey Fermata Auto (Kinginstaller)
  5. Install as Rey Fermata Control (Kinginstaller)
  6. Enter AA in the version number give 10 click to enable programmer mode
  7. In the 3 points right sector select programmer mode, wireless projection, unknown sources
  8. Enjoy Fermata Auto

Thank you for your response. I do know how to install Fermata Auto and have done the above steps many times before.

Like I said in my above response, Fermata Auto works great from my Blackview A70 handset, which has Android 11. It does not work on the Galaxy S7. I get the message "No new messages during this drive"

Les cuento. Tengo Samsung 7 rooteado y funciona bárbaro el Fermata Auto 1.8.8... Intenté instalar el mismo Fermata 1.8.8 en un Nokia 2.4 no rooteado y no sólo no lo pude instalar sino que tampoco me permite instalar KingInstaller.. para instalar kinginstaller me pide que sea root.
