What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. install both parts - server and phone
2. use normally
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Clicking and typing work fine. But when I go to mouse, the mouse disappears.
Regardless of its original position on the screen, when I click the mousepad on
the screen and try to scroll, the mouse seems to disappear. It actually goes to
the far right side of the screen. Sometimes I can see that I am able to scroll
up down. However, left/right scrolling never works.
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
v1.4 of RemoteDroid
Debian Linux
Please provide any additional information below.
I'm using the Moto Droid. I also have dual monitors and I have my main monitor
set as the right, so my display extends to the left. Not sure if that's a
problem or not.

Keyboard and mouse clicks are fine, but scrolling does not work. It sticks to
the right hand side of the screen and only moves up and down.

Same happens with my setup: Ubuntu 10.04, Gnome, Nvidia Twinview, HTC Desire.
I have seen the same behaviour with 2 other remote contol applications (Gmote,
Multiremote).

Similar phenomenon on my Ubuntu 10.04, Gnome+Compiz, 2 monitors, MOTO Milestone:
Keyboard and mouse keys are Ok.
When using the mousepad, the pointer will move onto the right edge of the right
side monitor. Moving UP and DOWN are Ok, while moving LEFT and RIGHT do not
work.

I think I have fixed the sticky mouse movements, the problem seems to be in the
server, I made a small change and have tested it on several OS's let me know if
R2 works. I have attached only the jar file and the name has changed, so if
you dont know how to launch a jar file you might wait for a release or find
assistance.

Thanks.
I have tried the R2 version on my Ubuntu 10.04, but it still performs the same
problem as I described in Comment 5.

I tried this on my Ubuntu 10.10 system laptop. I have the same issue with the
mouse pointer getting stuck to the right screen edge.
Interestingly this only happens when i have a dual monitor setup! With only one
monitor everything works perfect.
Nice application btw!

Hi again,
After an hour of trying to figure out how this whole thing works, I finally
have a fix. Tested it on my laptop - Ubuntu 64 bit + Dual screens. I tested it
with single and dual screens. Works perfectly fine.
Can some one give me permissions to the SVN repository so I can commit my
modifications.

Running Ubuntu 10.04 64-bit, using Sadique's RemoreDroidR3.jar, all buttons
work, keyboard works, but the mouse cursor won't budge.

and running RemoteDroid v1.4. Running Ubuntu 10.10 with Sun Java.

This seems to be the same as issue 56
http://code.google.com/p/remotedroid/issues/detail?id=56
I tried the version on the market, plus the two linked here, for me the problem
is the same with all of them. Using nVidia twinview with primary screen on the
right.

Sorry to spam, but after taking the steps listed here
(http://ubuntuforums.org/showpost.php?p=12095552&postcount=19) R3 does now work
for me, though R2 and 'release' version do not.

[SOLVED] R3 did not work for my Debian Squeeze dual screen. Playing around in
Nvidia X Server Settings and saving the settings to xorg.conf solved my problem.
